Poodle Party

A few poodles playing, a few people, a few donations? We didn't know what to expect!

On June 11, our little group of volunteers, Barbara Talbert, Jan Vidmar and Becky Governor, was warmly welcomed at the Triple S Horse Ranch by owners Bert and Paula Morgan (Ardent Poodles), and co-hosts Shirley and Barry Vitcov. We were also met by at least 30 friendly poodles of varying sizes and gorgeous colors as well as their proud owners (70 people). The FOTAS volunteers never imagined that so many dogs, most of who hadn't met before, could free play and romp with such joy and gentleness. The quiet grace of poodles and fun personality seems to be a deserved reputation.

The proceeds from photography, grooming, a silent auction, as well as generous cash gifts totaling over $1,500.00 was all donated to FOTAS. It was a wonderful event, topped off with a delicious catered barbecue.
