Meet Brutus!

AGE:  Hi, my name is Brutus and I’m a 1-year-old handsome guy who ended up at the Shelter ‘cause my owners couldn’t take me with them when they moved.

PERSONALITY:  I love people and would be incredibly happy if I could spend my days with you. I love being active and talkative, but I also like to be a couch potato and cuddle up with you!

HIGHLIGHTS:  I’m still young and want to continue my training to show you how smart I am!  Come and visit me at the Shelter … I’m looking forward to meeting you.

AVAILABLE:  At the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 5595 S Pacific Hwy, Phoenix.  Open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, andnoon to 4 p.m. weekends.

COST: Brutus’ adoption fee is $105, and includes a free 1-hour in-home training and a wellness visit at a local veterinarian office.  Brutus is neutered.

Friends of the Animal Shelter (FOTAS) is a non-profit organization that was formed in 1990 to support the programs of the Jackson County Animal Shelter. Our vision is for all adoptable animals at the Jackson Country Animal Shelter to find a loving home. Our mission is to recruit and train volunteers who will save lives by increasing pet adoptions at the Jackson Country Animal Shelter, improve the quality of life for the Shelter’s animals, promote spay and neuter, and facilitate outreach and educational activities about the humane treatment of companion animals throughout Jackson County. Our values are: Service, Compassion and Generosity.
