Meet Amos!

AGE:  Hey, my name is Amos, and I am a 2-year-old strikingly handsome pittie (if I may say so myself) looking for an active home.

PERSONALITY:  During the time I have been at the shelter, I have enjoyed playing with the other dogs in playgroups and can sometimes be a bit rowdy. My training is already in full swing and I know sit, shake, down, and stay. When you take me home, I would love it if you would teach me more tricks.

HIGHLIGHTS:  In addition to my good looks, I am super sweet and love to give kisses and hugs. I do, however, need some training on my leash, as I can pull hard when I get real excited about where we are going. When the day is done and playtime is over, I like to lie down on my belly and pancake on the nice cool floor and cuddle next to you on the couch.

AVAILABLE:  At the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 5595 S Pacific Hwy, Phoenix.  Open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, andnoon to 4 p.m. weekends.

COST: Amos’ adoption fee is only $105, and includes a free 1-hour, in-home training and a wellness visit at a local veterinarian office.  Amos is neutered.
