Meet Bailey!

AGE:  I’m Bailey, a handsome 9-year-old boy who is looking for a home to spend my golden years in.  Please don’t pass me up because of my age, since there are many benefits to adopting a senior dog. Let me tell you a few.

PERSONALITY: I don’t need much in the way of exercise, just an occasional stroll around the block and I’m a happy fella. I am housetrained, I already know some commands and am well mannered.

HIGHLIGHTS: I love to lounge at your feet and take a nap or chew on a bone. And best of all, I still have a lot of love to give. All I need is a home that understands the needs of a senior gentleman such as myself, arthritis, poor hearing, and all. Although I still get around OK, I will likely benefit from arthritis meds to reduce pain and inflammation in my legs for my remaining years.  At my age, I prefer no small dogs or cats.

AVAILABLE: At the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 5595 S. Pacific Hwy., between Talent and Phoenix, open 7 days a week.

COST: Bailey’s adoption fee is $95, and includes a free in-home training and a wellness visit at a local veterinarian office.  Bailey is neutered.
