BY APPOINTMENT DRIVE-THRU LOW-COST DOG VACCINATIONS

The next Jackson County Animal Services By Appointment Only – Drive-Thru Shot Clinic is on Saturday, June 20th, 2020.

This drive-thru clinic is limited to Jackson County pet owners whose dogs require both a rabies vaccine and license.

No puppies, cats, or kittens will be scheduled/vaccinated and no nail trimming is offered.

Dog owners MUST call the Shelter at 541-774-6654 by Friday, June 19th to make an appointment.

Please wear a mask and please be on-time. Pets who are ill, on antibiotics, in heat, or on cortisone products cannot be vaccinated.

The animal shelter is located at 5595 So. Pacific Hwy (99) in Phoenix near Talent.

Vaccines and Licensing Costs/Payment

Vaccinations available for dogs (CASH ONLY as this fee goes to the veterinarian) are:

  • Rabies ($10 cash for each vaccine)
  • Distemper/Parvo booster ($15 cash for each vaccine).

All dogs six months of age and older are required by law to be vaccinated for rabies and licensed

Dog license fees (by Check, Credit/Debit Card, or Cash), vary based on the dog’s neuter/spay status, and there is also a discount for veterans and seniors 62 years and older. When calling for your appointment, ask the staff about the fee for your dog(s).

MISSION STATEMENT

Friends of the Animal Shelter (FOTAS) is a non-profit organization that was formed in 1990 to support the programs of the Jackson County Animal Shelter. Our vision is for all adoptable animals at the Jackson Country Animal Shelter to find a loving home. Our mission is to recruit and train volunteers who will save lives by increasing pet adoptions at the Jackson Country Animal Shelter, improve the quality of life for the Shelter’s animals, promote spay and neuter, and facilitate outreach and educational activities about the humane treatment of companion animals throughout Jackson County. Our values are: Service, Compassion and Generosity.
