BY APPOINTMENT LOW-COST VACCINATIONS

Jackson County Animal Services By Appointment Only – Drive-Up Shot Clinic is held on the third Saturday of the month.

This drive-up clinic supports Jackson County pet owners whose need to vaccinate their animals and license their dogs. Please note that this low-cost clinic is for Jackson County residents only, and dog owners are expected to purchase a license after the rabies vaccination is administered.

Puppy, cat, and kitten vaccinations are now available!

Please be on time. Pets who are ill, on antibiotics, in heat, or on cortisone products cannot be vaccinated.

Vaccines and Licensing Costs/Payment

Vaccinations available for pets (CASH ONLY as this fee goes to the veterinarian) are:

  • Rabies ($10 cash for each pet)
  • Canine Distemper/Parvo booster and Feline Distemper booster ($15 cash for each pet).

Dog Licensing can be done immediately after and can be Cash, Check, or Card

  • $25 for a 1-year license, $50 for a 2 or 3-year license.  Discounted to $20 and $40 for military and seniors.

Dog licensing is required during your visit to the Low-Cost Vaccination Clinic.

The animal shelter is located at 5595 So. Pacific Hwy (Hwy 99) in Phoenix near Talent.

MISSION STATEMENT

Friends of the Animal Shelter (FOTAS) is a non-profit organization that was formed in 1990 to support the programs of the Jackson County Animal Shelter. Our vision is for all adoptable animals at the Jackson Country Animal Shelter to find a loving home. Our mission is to recruit and train volunteers who will save lives by increasing pet adoptions at the Jackson Country Animal Shelter, improve the quality of life for the Shelter’s animals, promote spay and neuter, and facilitate outreach and educational activities about the humane treatment of companion animals throughout Jackson County. Our values are: Service, Compassion and Generosity.
