SUMMARY:Dog Adoption Event @ Rogue Valley Pet
DESCRIPTION:Join the FOTAS Foster Team the last Saturday of every month for a Fantastic Foster Dog extravaganza!\nThanks to Rogue Valley Pet\, in Central Point we are able to showcase our foster dogs the last Saturday of month\, 10am-2pm.  \nIt’s an open house where you can meet and greet with some very special dogs….all lovingly cared for by foster parents.  \nVisiting with the dogs and the foster team is a fantastic way find out all about the dogs before adoption.  These dogs have received lots of love and attention and are now ready for their forever home.  Dogs from other non-profit rescue groups will also be invited so you’ll be able to meet a great selection of super dogs. \nWHEN:  the last Saturday of every month (1/25\, 2/22\, 3/29\, 4/26\, 5/24\, 6/28\, 7/26\, 8/30\, 9/27\, 10/25\, 11/29) \nWHERE:  Rogue Valley Pet\, 1205 Plaza Blvd\, Central Point \nTIME: 10AM – 2PM \nView the FOTAS Foster dogs here.\nLinks to other dog foster rescue groups can also been found on the link above.  \n\n\n\n\n\nAdopting a foster dog can be a good choice for a number of reasons\, including: \n\n\n\n\n\nBetter transition to home life: Many shelter dogs can be stressed and anxious. Fostering helps them adjust to a home environment\, making the transition into a new home easier for all. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nMore one-on-one attention: Dogs in foster care receive more attention than they might in a crowded shelter. This helps the dogs decompress and let their wonderful real personality come out. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nBetter behavior: Dogs in foster care show significant improvements in behavior\, such as being more playful\, friendly\, and confident. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nLearn more about the dog: Foster parents know all sorts of info about the dog they are caring for. This helps provide a great jumpstart for the new people adopting a foster dog.  Finding the best fit for everyone\, dog included\, makes for a great adoption!\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nFree up space in the shelter: FOTAS fosters those Shelter dogs that are having the hardest time in the Shelter. Fostering helps frees up space in the Shelter for another dog in need. \n\n \n\n\n \n\n\nThank you Rogue Valley Pet for hosting this monthly event!\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
