Calling all Crafters

Creative animal lovers, let your talents shine for the benefit of Jackson County’s animals! 

Friends of the Animal Shelter (FOTAS) is accepting donations of handcrafted items to sell at the Howl-O-Ween & Holidays Fair.  What can you make?  Animal-themed art, decor, jewelry and attire, gifts for pets and pet owners, holiday costumes.  What would you add to the list?  Tell us at FOTAS Elves facebook page

Donations can be delivered to the FOTAS office at the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 5595 S. Pacific Hwy in Phoenix, or send a message to FOTAS Elves facebook page  to make other arrangements. 

Ideas of things to make:

  • Animal-themed art, decor, jewelry and attire
  • Pet costumes
  • Pet related gifts
  • Dog walking bags (we have kits ready for sewing!)
  • Pet beds
  • Pet toys
  • You get the idea!….it’s endless what you can make!

Friends of the Animal Shelter (FOTAS) is a non-profit organization that was formed in 1990 to support the programs of the Jackson County Animal Shelter. Our vision is for all adoptable animals at the Jackson Country Animal Shelter to find a loving home. Our mission is to recruit and train volunteers who will save lives by increasing pet adoptions at the Jackson Country Animal Shelter, improve the quality of life for the Shelter’s animals, promote spay and neuter, and facilitate outreach and educational activities about the humane treatment of companion animals throughout Jackson County. Our values are: Service, Compassion and Generosity.
