Kitten Fostering 101

Kitten Foster  101 Training Course for Weaned Kittens

Saturday, April 17, 12:30 – 2:00 PM

FOTAS is pleased to offer a Kitten Fostering seminar presented by Michelle Fox, FOTAS Foster Coordinator, and her crazy kitten foster lady (2000 and counting) side-kick, Eliza Kauder. Seminars will be presented via Zoom (you will need to be able to SEE the presentation).  We will send a link to that closer to time.

You do NOT need to be a current kitten foster or FOTAS volunteer to attend … if you’re just curious, these seminars are a great introduction to the art of fostering fluff-balls!  If you decide you want to become a foster family, we’ll get you signed up!

This seminar will cover the basics you need to know to successfully foster kittens that have mastered the art of eating solid food out of a bowl!

  • If you are an experienced post-bottle foster, this will be a refresher – and you may be able to add a few pointers as well.
  • If you are thinking about becoming a foster for “easier” kittens, this will be a great introduction to help you decide.
  • And if you decide you DO want to do it, we’ll provide hands-on mentoring as well.

Registration required: So that we can send you the Zoom meeting invite.

Email the below information to fotas@fotas.org or call 541-774-6651 (leave a message with your first and last names, phone # and email address – speak slowly and repeat!)
