Meet Kit Cat!

AGE: Kit Cat, king of the jungle, is a big 7-year-old ginger boy who has been patiently waiting at the shelter for almost three months for his new home!

PERSONALITY: He is picky about his feline friends, but had a great relationship with one of the other cats in Kitty Korner who was adopted, so it’s possible he’ll be OK as a 2nd cat … but most likely will want to be the Alpha cat.  Kit Cat has a sweet heart and likes attention in the form of gentle pets, scritches and the occasional one-on-one discussions; and he’s polite about letting you know when he’s done.

HIGHLIGHTS: Kit Cat has spent a lot of time outside in the Kitty Korner Catio, stretched out on a ledge, soaking up sun, but is equally happy inside, curled up on his cozy pillow. He’s a handsome dude who sure would like a home of his own with a patient cat-savvy person who will give him plenty of time to adjust and who won’t take it personally when he wants some alone time.  Come down to the shelter to meet his royal highness.

AVAILABLE: At the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 5595 S Pacific Hwy, Phoenix.  Open 11am to 4 pm Tuesday through Friday, and noon to 4pm weekends.

COST: Adoption fee: $50, and includes a free wellness visit at a local veterinarian office.  Kit Cat is neutered.
