Meet Missy!

AGE: Missy is a gorgeous, regal, 7-year old Lynx Point/Himalayan mix with magically blue eyes. Her world fell apart when her owner passed away over a year ago, and she is currently living in a foster home in Ashland while she patiently waits for just the right people to fall in love with her.

PERSONALITY: This independent, quirky girl has a touch of catitude and is a sensitive soul who needs a quiet adults-only home with time to adjust to her new environment.  She would prefer to be the only cat in your life, but a mellow, older dog like the one in her foster home could be a good match.  Missy can be reserved at first, but once she feels comfortable, her sociable, playful side shines through. Over time, she will make a wonderful kitty companion for a loving, experienced cat owner.

HIGHLIGHTS: Missy has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, which requires inexpensive medication to manage symptoms.  As a declawed kitty, she must live indoors only.  Missy is waiting for another loving home.  Is it yours?

AVAILABLE: At the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 5595 S Pacific Hwy, Phoenix.  Open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and noon to 4 p.m. weekends.

COST: Missy’s adoption fee has been waived and includes a free wellness visit at a local veterinarian office. Missy is spayed.
