Meet Sage!

AGE: Sage, a delightful 2-year-old gray tabby girl, was so shy when she first came to the Shelter that she spent most of her time hiding under her bed. Times have changed and now this gregarious gal, with the adorable wedge-shaped face, is Ms. Purrsonality.

PERSONALITY: She strolls around playing with wand toys and other cats, greeting people and accepting their scritches and admiration. Sage doesn’t like to be picked up, and would rather sit by your side than on your lap — for now!

HIGHLIGHTS: Give her time to adjust to a new home, offer her affection, a sunny window sill and a wand toy, and you’ll have a perky little kitty companion.

AVAILABLE: At the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 5595 S Pacific Hwy, Phoenix.  Open 11am to 4 pm Tuesday through Friday, and noon to 4pm weekends.

COST: Sage’s adoption fee is $40 and includes a free wellness visit at a local veterinarian office. Sage is spayed.
