My name is HAMMY and I am 1 – 2 year old boy. A lot of people think I’m a good looking guy, but please don’t underestimate me because of that. Looks aren’t everything, and you should know that from day one here I’ve been earning straight A’s from my Pit Crew teachers. I hope it’s not bragging to tell you that that I have aced all of my basic command lessons, and that I’ve overheard my handlers refer to me as a “perfect gentleman on leash.” Being treat-motivated makes it easy for me to learn new skills, but I’m equally happy to be rewarded with love and affection. Before we move in together, though, please make sure there are no cats around….I just can’t resist them. Ok?! Otherwise, what are you waiting for? Let’s go live the good life together!
Hi there! I am MADDIE, a 2 year old Lab/Pit bull mix girl. I am very smart, if I do say so myself, and I love treats, which helps me to learn new things very quickly! I already know how to sit and shake paws on command and I walk great on and off leash, which is a good thing since I’m a big girl. I love to play catch but am also happy to just curl up next to you. I really like people and other dogs, but of course I would want to do a meet and greet with other dogs in your family.
ADOPTED! I’m Benny, a spunky, playful guy, who is about 2 years old and enjoys going for walks. I’m housebroken and play well with other dogs in the home. I like people, am a quick learner, and can be very affectionate. In my foster home, I’ve learned to come when called, dance around on my two back legs, and walk well on a leash. If you want to know more about me or arrange a time to visit, please call my foster Trish at 541-535-1166 or call the Jackson County Animal Shelter at 541-774-6654.
ADOPTED! I am SAMMY, a very friendly 7 year old Husky/German Shepherd mix. In my previous home I got too little exercise and too many treats, so I have a few pounds to lose. But I enjoy exercising! If you want a walking buddy, I would be happy to keep you company while we both burn off a few calories. I am good on a leash, and I love chasing balls. I will even give the ball back for you to throw again! I have been described as “people oriented,” and I am good with kids. I am affectionate, and I love to be petted, and given body rubs. I am at the Shelter because my owners were moving and couldn’t take me. I would love to be in a home with you for the rest of my life!
