Reduced fee adoption event!

Help! Over 30 dogs are looking for their fur-ever home at the Jackson County Animal Shelter. 

All breeds and sizes of dogs are looking for a home. NOW is the perfect time to adopt your new best friend.

The Animal Shelter is over capacity for housing dogs and we’re looking for good homes for these wonderful canines.

ALL dogs 6 months and older will have their adoption fees reduced to just $50 – a 66% discount from the regular price of $150.  We’ve got some GREAT companions who are so ready to find a fur-ever home.  Come out and meet them!!

Friday and Saturday, August 12 and 13, Noon to 4 PM

Jackson County Animal Shelter
5595 S. Pacific Hwy in Phoenix (nearer to Talent).

No appointments are needed to attend this event. Walk-ins are welcome!

If you have been considering adopting a dog, now is the perfect time!

Help us find our furry friends new homes! 

All adopted dogs will be spay/neutered,  microchipped, etc. prior to going to their new homes.

During this event, adopting families will go through the same standard adoption process they would if applying at other times, which includes an application and screening requirements. In addition to the $50 adoption fee, adopters who live in Jackson County will also be responsible for paying $25 for an annual dog license.

This event is made possible by Friends of the Animal Shelter, which will pay the discount for every dog adopted this weekend and provides the volunteers needed to hold this event.
